We worked with Kevin recently on an addition to our home and a full interior remodel. We're very happy with how it came out. Kevin came in with reasonable pricing and we stayed on budget and finished relatively quickly.

Kevin at times went above and beyond for us to get us to our desired aesthetic. He's always very willing to work with you to get to what you want to achieve. He makes himself available to answer questions and concerns. He has never once not called me back.

Kevin and his team are experienced and amazing to work with, my family and I are not subject matter experts in ADUs or construction but Kevin guided us through the whole process. He assisted us in building a 1100+ sq ft ADU and a 400 sq ft garage from ground up in the City of LA. Kevin was very on time with his schedule and was at the jobsite almost every single day, on one occasion even came to the jobsite three times to make sure all the work being done was to his standards.

Kevin takes pride in his work and the results show it. My family and I at first had some reservations since there are nightmare stories about GCs but after a few weeks with working with Kevin, we were relieved and trusted him and his teams work. My mom always said you get what you pay for, and RET definitely delivered. The materials used, the finishes provided, and workmanship were all of quality. I highly recommend RET Construction and would definitely consider using their services in the future if the opportunity arises.

Kevin and his team are very experienced and knowledgeable in their line of work.  He also explained the process clearly and was able to answer any questions we had.  He was always willing to work with us and our needs.  Pricing wise was fair, it was worth it for the materials and the great workmanship provided.  Kevin always kept to his provided timeline and we never had to worry if he was gonna show up.  He really cares for his clients and always want what's best for them which is very rare to find nowadays.

Just wanted to express my appreciation to Mr. Truong & RET CONSTRUCTION Co. for my wonderful building experience in the city of Monterey Park. Mr. Truong remodeled my 2 bedrm 1bath home. He expanded it into 3 bedrm 2 1/2 bath with a formal dining room. Additional, Mr. Truong constructed and built a 2 bedrm 2 bath ADU with attached 2 door garage. Each building project was delightfully completed in a timely manner and to my fullest satisfaction. Mr. Truong is a well-qualified and hands-on general contractor who takes pride in each of his building projects. He holds his construction crew to a high level of craftsmanship and workmanship. Mr. Truong also has excellent rapport with building inspectors. He passed each inspection of the construction process with flying colors. Furthermore, I find that Mr. Truong is very honest, kind, extremely trustworthy and used quality building materials and supplies in each of my building projects. His building and remodeling proposals are highly competitive and very reasonable.

Kevin is a great GC - he is experienced, has good craftsmanship, communicates well, is priced fairly, and actually cares about his clients. Having all of these qualities is rare to find. I had a bad experience in the past and was paranoid about making the wrong decision again. He was very empathetic and took the time to answer my questions.  He kept me in the loop throughout my project without prompting, he sent me photos of the progress, finished it quickly, and on budget. It was not the lowest quote, but it was worth it because I knew he did the work correctly and used quality materials. I wish I would have met him sooner!
